JAN was born and studied in
Prague, Czech Republic.
He is currently based in Great
Malvern where he settled and
fully committed to managing his
company Digitlight Photography.
Digitlight focuses on high end
interior & exterior photography, golf,
wedding, advertising, promotional and
event photography along with fine
art photography sales, printing and
distribution. Working as a
freelance photographer in the
Czech Republic, New Zealand and
now the United Kingdom, Jan has
developed a recognisable style and
created a large portfolio of
landscape, fine art, architecture,
nature and still life photography.
Therefore every photo Digitlight
produces is a piece of art
more than just a shot! After several exhibitions,
articles in local newspapers and
co-operation with local
authorities, Jan has become a well
known photographer around the
Malvern Hills area.
His atmospheric panoramic
landscapes have become a popular
and stylish way of decorating
private and business premises.
Paying big attention to weather
and light conditions Jan’s
photographs are full of drama,
unusual light and eye pleasing
colours.
By using carefully composed
pictures, specific colour palette
and printing on special textured
full cotton canvas Jan's pictures
are balancing on the edge between
photography and paintings. That
is exactly what he is aiming for.
Being new, original and instantly
recognisable.
Jan’s work is currently
exhibited in Spice Cottage
restaurant, Malvern Tilla restaurant, Kettle Sings Cafe,
Emeralds Grove, and Lyttleton
House Gallery in Malvern. Jan
and his company were official
photographic sponsor of
Chamber of
Commerce Business
Awards 2009.
Jan currently works in the following areas: Fine art, landscape and panoramic photography, commercial and advertising photography, still life, architecture, interior photography, wedding photography, automotive, product, pack shots and golf photography.

Specialising in panoramic photography, Jan has been able to produce a unique collection of atmospheric images representing the scale and beauty of the Malvern Hills and surrounding areas.
